We think scientists deserve better software.
Our mission is to give labs a workspace as modern as the science they do — so researchers can spend their time on discovery, not on data entry.
Origin
Why we built Labitron.
Labitron grew out of years building scheduling, BPMN, and workflow systems for regulated industries. Across pharma, manufacturing, and finance we kept hearing the same story: the rigour was real, but the tools were decades old, the audit trails were sticky-noted on top of spreadsheets, and the people who actually did the work avoided the official system.
Then we started talking to lab teams. Same story, except even worse: a LIMS from 2008, an ELN from 2012, a sequence viewer that only runs on a single laptop in the corner, and an analytics pipeline that involves "exporting to R." We built Labitron because we believe scientific software can be modern, joyful, and rigorous — at the same time.
Values
What guides us.
Innovation
Modern data engines, real AI, considered design — for an industry that's seen too little of any of them.
User-centricity
Software the bench scientist enjoys using is software the bench scientist actually uses.
Integrity
We tell you what's shipped, what's partial, and what's roadmap. Not a screenshot more, not a feature less.
Collaboration
Labitron is built with early-access labs in the loop. Their feedback shapes the roadmap.
Efficiency
Boring infrastructure, signed releases, reproducible builds. The platform stays out of your way.
Team
Founders & leadership
